Euan Gorrie is a Partner in the Firm’s London office.  He is the first English solicitor partner at the firm.  Mr. Gorrie’s practice includes acting for borrowers and lenders in acquisition, leveraged and property finance transactions and consensual restructurings throughout Europe.  Recent transactions he has handled include representing Blackstone and First Reserve in a variety of financings.

Mr. Gorrie joined Simpson Thacher in 2003.  Prior to that he was a partner in the banking department of Allen & Overy from 1996.

Mr. Gorrie was admitted as an English solicitor in 1989.  He received his undergraduate degree from New College, Oxford in 1984.
