Mark Brod is a Partner in the Corporate Department at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP where he concentrates his practice on capital markets transactions with a focus on offerings of high yield debt and equity securities, as well as general corporate matters. Mr. Brod has represented investment banks and issuers in initial public offerings, high yield financings, debt restructuring transactions and other domestic and international capital raising transactions. In addition, he regularly advises corporate clients with respect to corporate governance, securities laws and general corporate matters.
Mr. Brod joined Simpson Thacher in 2001. He received his J.D. in 2001 from Harvard Law School and his A.B., magna cum laude, in 1996 from Duke University. Mr. Brod was a Fulbright Scholar (Japan) and is admitted to practice in New York.
