Neera Rellan Stacy is Counsel at Simpson Thacher where she is a member of the Firm's Personal Planning Department. Ms. Stacy advises clients on complex estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, retirement planning and issues relating to foreign individuals, assets and entities. Her practice focuses on designing and implementing sophisticated estate planning structures designed to achieve both the preservation and transmission of wealth in a tax efficient manner as well as a client's other goals.
Ms. Stacy received her B.A. with Distinction in all Subjects from Cornell University in 1990 where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1997 where she graduated magna cum laude, was named a member of the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Editor of the New York University Law Review. From 1998 to 1999 Ms. Stacy clerked for the Honorable Robert W. Sweet, United States District Judge, Southern District of New York.
Ms. Stacy is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
