Pamela L. Rollins is a Partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Head of the Personal Planning Department.  Ms. Rollins advises clients on estate planning and estate and trust administration.  Her practice includes developing and implementing strategies to achieve preservation and transmission of family wealth while minimizing transfer taxes.  Ms. Rollins provides advice regarding structuring business interests, issues relating to art collections, charitable giving and management of a wide variety of family holdings and enterprises.  Ms. Rollins has a special expertise in planning with privately held business interests, including hedge fund and private equity interests.

Ms. Rollins is a member of the American Bar Association (former Vice-Chair; Committee on Estate Planning and Drafting, Generation Skipping; former Chair, Committee on Cash Flow and Asset Management); The New York State Bar Association; The Association of the Bar of the City of New York; and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Ms. Rollins is a frequent lecturer on Trusts and Estates and Estate and Tax Planning.

Ms. Rollins received her A.B. from Cornell University in 1979 and her J.D. from Cornell University School of Law in 1982, where she was a Member and Note Editor of the Cornell Law Review.  Ms. Rollins also received an MBA in 1984 from the Cornell Graduate School of Management and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1990.
