Wilson S. Neely is a Partner in the Firm's Corporate Department. Mr. Neely practices primarily in the mergers and acquisitions area and also in the capital markets area.  He has worked on numerous private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and strategic partnerships between private equity funds and corporate partners. In addition, he has overseen a number of initial public offerings, involving both common stock and high yield securities.

Mr. Neely joined Simpson Thacher in 1982 and became a partner in 1991.  He received his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1978 and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas Law School in 1982.
