The Endowment Advisory Practice

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett advises and represents not-for-profit institutions in connection with the investment of their respective endowments. The Firm’s representation includes the review and negotiation of documentation relating to investments in private equity funds, venture capital funds, real asset funds, hedge funds, managed accounts and similar investment vehicles. The Firm’s core relationships in this area include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Princeton University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, Brown University, Rockefeller University, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The Ford Foundation, The Gordon E. and Betty I.
